Teaching classes at UAMCC seminar

This week, I was invited by the UAMCC (United Association of Mobile Contract Cleaners) to teach a class at the seminar here in Orlando. The class we taught was "Ladder Tips/Techniques".

As Roof Cleaners, we are all faced with having to climb ladders day-in and day-out. There are some Roof Cleaning companies that work strictly from the ladder and some that will walk the roof. Both are ok, and both get the job done. However, no matter which method, you are still using a ladder.

Over the years, we have learned to be more efficient with our ladders. We/ve learned better methods of raising, carrying, climbing, securing, and even a way to lock your self in with you leg so that you can work with both hands and wont fall! We taught methods of getting on/off the roof the safest way. We taught methods of securing the ladder so that it does no slide, slip, or shift, which could result in a fall.

After attending seminars, conventions, and expo's, It was a true pleasure to teach a class. I really enjoyed speaking and look forward to many more opportunities with the UAMCC! This organization is making our industry smarter and safer every day!

Heres a few pictures of the class and hands-on training we did...
